Cucumber Trapazny is an early-maturing, bee-pollinated hybrid intended for cultivation in open ground. The period from germination to the first harvest is 42-45 days, allowing for an early and abundant yield. The fruits are 9-11 cm long and weigh 80-120 grams, featuring a finely ribbed surface with white spines and a deep green color. They have a dense, crisp texture, free of bitterness and hollows, making them ideal for fresh consumption as well as for canning.
This variety is highly resistant to common cucumber diseases such as powdery mildew, downy mildew, fusarium, and olive spot. This reduces the risk of crop loss and increases cultivation reliability. Cucumber Trapazny tolerates hot weather well, making it suitable for cultivation in warm regions and during the summer season.
Yield in open ground can reach 5-6 kg per square meter. The fruits maintain their marketable appearance for up to two weeks, which is convenient for storage and transportation. It is recommended to plant on sunny sites with a spacing of 30x70 cm. Cucumber Trapazny is versatile in use and suitable for both fresh consumption and pickling and other preservation methods.
