Cucumber of the "Sweet Crunch" variety is a mid-season hybrid with unusual fruit coloring and excellent taste qualities. The zucchini have a cylindrical shape, large-warty with black fuzz, measuring 7–10 cm in length and 60–115 g in weight. The fruits are light-colored, almost white, with a crisp, dense texture, making them ideal for pickling and canning. The plants have medium vining habit and predominantly mixed flowering, which contributes to high yields.
The variety is characterized by high drought resistance and resistance to major diseases, including powdery mildew, although in some climatic conditions it may show sensitivity to false powdery mildew. It is recommended to grow "Sweet Crunch" in open ground or under plastic covers in milder climatic zones, avoiding southern regions with high humidity and heat.
For successful cultivation, follow agronomic recommendations: sow seeds for seedlings or directly into the soil at a depth of 1–2 cm at a germination temperature of 13–15°С. The plant prefers fertile, light soils, well-lit areas protected from cold winds. The optimal temperature for growth is 25–30°С. Care includes regular watering with warm water and fertilization every 10 days, as well as weeding and soil loosening to ensure good aeration.
