Cucumber Patron F1 is a mid-early, high-yielding hybrid with a maturity period of about 55 days. This parthenocarpic hybrid does not require pollination and is suitable for cultivation in greenhouses, under temporary film covers, as well as in open ground. The plant has female flowering, forming one to three fruits per node, which contributes to high yields up to 16 kg per square meter. Sowing seedlings is recommended at the end of April, and transplanting into the ground — at the end of May or beginning of June, when seedlings have developed 3-4 true leaves. When planting, follow a 30x70 cm spacing and regularly harvest fruits 2-3 times per week to maintain productivity. Patron cucumber fruits have a cylindrical shape, length of 10-12 cm, and weight of about 140 grams. Their surface is smooth, with thin and tender skin, giving them exceptional appeal and making them ideal for fresh consumption, especially in salads. The flesh is juicy and sweet with a distinct cucumber aroma, significantly surpassing the taste qualities of ribbed varieties. The hybrid is resistant to major cucumber diseases, simplifying care and increasing crop reliability.
