Cucumber variety NOVOSIBIRSKY is an early-maturing, insect-pollinated variety that starts fruiting 43-49 days after germination. The plant is long-vined, medium-height, and medium-branched, with a successive female flowering type. Fruits are spindle-shaped, 7-11 cm long, green with medium-length stripes, ribbed with black hairs, weighing 62-85 grams. The cucumbers are firm, crisp, with a distinct cucumber aroma and no bitterness, making them ideal for pickling, fresh summer salads, and okroshka.

The variety has good yield — 3.2 to 4.8 kg per square meter — and can fruit even under adverse weather conditions. It is resistant to powdery mildew and false powdery mildew, as well as many other diseases, ensuring reliable cultivation. For planting, use seedlings sown at the beginning of May, transplanted into the soil at the 3-4 true leaf stage in late May to early June, or direct sowing into open ground in May-June with an optimal spacing of 60x30 cm. For maintaining high fruit quality, daily harvest is recommended.

The NOVOSIBIRSKY variety has proven itself well in the middle belt of Russia and the Urals, confirming its adaptability to various climatic conditions. High seed germination rate (about 97%) and stable fruiting make this variety attractive to gardeners seeking tasty and high-quality cucumbers for salads and pickling.
