Nadia F1

Cucumber Nadia F1 — a mid-early, bee-pollinated hybrid of the cornichon type, developed by the Dutch seed company Seminis. The plant is medium-height and robust, characterized by high yield and resistance to stressful conditions, including high temperatures. The hybrid exhibits increased resistance to major cucumber diseases, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in open ground, as well as in plastic greenhouses and under temporary coverings.

The fruits of cucumber Nadia F1 are uniform, cylindrical, light green, 8–10 cm long and 1–5 cm in diameter, with a length-to-width ratio of approximately 3.1:1. The average fruit weight varies from 90 to 120 grams. The flesh is dense, free of cavities and bitterness, with good texture and excellent flavor, which remains stable during canning and pickling. Due to these characteristics, the cucumber is suitable for both fresh consumption and processing.

The maturation period of the hybrid ranges from 38 to 45 days, allowing for an early harvest. The plant is predominantly female-flowering with good fruit set. The recommended planting rate is 30–50 thousand plants per hectare.
