Monomakh cucumber is a medium-early parthenocarpic hybrid with high growth vigor and stable yield. The plant is indeterminate, female-flowering, with shortened internodes and a weakly branched type, making it easy to grow in greenhouses and on trellises with plant spacing. Due to its determinate lateral branches and excellent fruit set, the hybrid shows high resistance to powdery mildew and minimal fruit drop, ensuring a stable yield.
Monomakh cucumber fruits have an elongated-cylindrical shape, 18-20 cm long, dark green color, and slightly ribbed surface, making them very attractive and uniform in size. The average weight of the fruit is about 208-218 grams. High standard product output and fruit quality reach 96.9-97.5%, confirming the variety's quality and demand for salad use.
The hybrid has an ultrarapid maturity period — the first fruits appear as early as 43-48 days after germination. Marketable yield in winter greenhouses reaches 23.8-24.4 kg per square meter, while early-season yield is 5.0-6.3 kg per square meter. These characteristics make Monomakh cucumber an excellent choice for year-round cultivation under various climatic conditions and for commercial production.
