MOLODEC

Cucumber MOLODEC is an early parthenocarpic hybrid with female flowering, intended for cultivation in open and protected soil, including plastic greenhouses. From germination to emergence of seedlings, it takes 35-38 days, allowing for a quick harvest. The plant is medium-sized with good leafiness, forming one to three fruits per node. To increase yield, it is recommended to interplant up to 10% pollinator or grow alongside a variety producing male flowers.

The fruits of cucumber MOLODEC have a cylindrical shape, length of 11-13 cm, diameter of 3.4-3.6 cm, and weight of 120-150 g. They are dark green with small light stripes at the tip, finely ribbed, and white-haired with moderate ridge placement. The fruits have excellent taste and pickling qualities, no bitterness, crisp texture, and sweet aroma. The absence of seeds makes them convenient for use in the food industry.

The MOLODEC hybrid is characterized by high resistance to major cucumber diseases, such as powdery mildew, cucumber mosaic virus-1, downy mildew, and root rots. Thanks to this, the variety can be cultivated without chemical treatments, including in autumn rotations. Yield ranges from 2.4-4.2 kg per square meter in open ground and reaches 12-14 kg per square meter in greenhouses and under plastic coverings, making this variety attractive to gardeners and farmers.
