MOLODEC-UDALETS

Cucumber MOLODEC-UDALETS is a fast-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid with neat dark-green pickling-type fruits, 8-9 cm long and weighing about 40 g. The plant is female-flowering, medium-sized with limited lateral branching, which simplifies care and harvesting. The fruit set is of a cluster type, with 3-4 fruits forming in each node. The fruits have a crisp, dense structure and excellent taste qualities, suitable for fresh consumption, pickling, and canning.

The hybrid is characterized by high yield, reaching up to 9-11.4 kg per square meter, and resistance to major cucumber diseases such as cladosporiosis, powdery mildew, and other fungal infections. Due to parthenocarpy, fruits form without pollination, allowing cultivation under various conditions, including spring-summer greenhouses, plastic coverings, and open ground. The time from germination to the start of fruiting is 43-51 days, making it very early-maturing and convenient for obtaining an early harvest.

Seed sowing is recommended in April-May, at a depth of 1.5-2 cm, at an optimal soil temperature of 23-25 °C. Direct sowing into the ground or seedling method with 20-25-day-old seedlings having 3-5 true leaves is used. Plants are spaced at 2-3 per square meter, with recommended support on trellises and shaping the bush by pinching lateral shoots. Fertilization with mineral and organic fertilizers, as well as watering with warm water, increases yield. Harvesting is done regularly every 3-5 days.
