Cucumber variety METELITSА is an ultraprecoce, high-yielding hybrid with parthenocarpic flowering, meaning no pollination is required. From germination to the first harvest, it takes only 36-38 days, allowing for an early harvest. The plant is medium-sized, semi-determinate, with limited lateral branching, which simplifies care and improves fruit quality. The cucumbers have an attractive cylindrical shape, 7-8 cm long and weighing about 68-70 grams, dark green with white stripes, covered with large bumps and white spines.

Variety METELITSА is highly resistant to diseases such as true and false powdery mildew, as well as cladosporeiosis, ensuring stable yields even under unfavorable weather conditions. The hybrid tolerates soil overwatering well, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones, including cooler regions. For such conditions, seedling cultivation using peat pots and specially prepared soil, along with optimal temperature and watering regimes, is recommended.

Cucumber METELITSА is versatile in use: it is excellent for fresh consumption in salads, as well as for pickling and preserving. The formation of 3-4 fruits simultaneously per flower cluster allows for up to 14-15 uniform cucumbers per plant. It is recommended to plant 3-4 plants per square meter for optimal yield, which reaches approximately 14.8 kg per square meter. Due to its characteristics and resistance, variety METELITSА is an excellent choice for both open ground and temporary plastic coverings.
