SUBURBAN

Cucumber Suburban is a fast-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid, predominantly female-flowering, characterized by its uniform and abundant fruiting. Plants have medium branching, with 1-2 fruiting nodes per node. The cucumbers are bumpy, white-stemmed, moderately hairy, oval-cylindrical in shape, 10-14 cm long, dark green in color. Fruit weight is approximately 80-110 grams. Due to its characteristics, cucumbers are suitable for both fresh consumption and pickling or preserving.

The hybrid has a high degree of parthenocarpy, enabling fruit set without pollination, as well as enhanced adaptability and resistance to shade. This allows growing the cucumber both in open and protected ground, including areas with insufficient light. Additionally, the variety is resistant to diseases such as powdery mildew, downy mildew, olive spot, cucumber mosaic virus, and VOM-1, significantly reducing the risk of crop loss.

Cucumber Suburban is a versatile variety successfully grown in various regions of Russia.
