Mamennykin synok — early maturing parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid, exclusively female flowering type, intended for cultivation in open ground and plastic greenhouses. The plant is medium-height, indeterminate, with shortened internodes and a tendency to form clusters of fruits, which contributes to high yield. The hybrid is self-pollinating, which simplifies care and increases fruiting stability.
The fruits of this hybrid are cylindrical, large-buckled, dark green, 9–12 cm long and weighing 80–95 g. The zucchini have white or black spines, are firm, crisp, and free of bitterness. They are not prone to overgrowth, making them particularly attractive to consumers. Due to their taste qualities and appearance, the zucchini of this hybrid are excellent for pickling, salting, marinating, and fresh consumption.
The hybrid is resistant to major cucumber diseases, including cucumber mosaic virus, true and false powdery mildew, olive spot, leaf target spot, and vein yellowing virus. The maturation period is 42–46 days from germination to fruiting, enabling an early harvest. Sowing on seedlings is recommended at the end of April, followed by transplanting into the ground at the end of May — beginning of June; direct sowing into the ground in May–June is also possible. The planting scheme is 30x70 cm, with a yield of 5–7 kg per plant.
