Cucumber variety GREGORIAN is an early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid that does not require bee pollination. The period from seedlings to the first harvest is 43–45 days, and the full ripening period reaches 65–70 days. The plant is characterized by high yield and resistance to stressful conditions, including temperature fluctuations, as well as to diseases such as brown spot, cucumber mosaic virus, powdery mildew, and downy mildew. Thanks to these qualities, the hybrid is suitable for growing in open ground using seedlings and can be used in the second crop rotation. Cucumber GREGORIAN fruits have a finely ribbed surface, 5–8 cm long, with dark green skin at the base and lighter color near the tip. The hairs are frequent, and the spines are white and non-thorny. The flesh is juicy, crunchy, aromatic, and sweet, without voids or bitterness, making this variety universal for fresh consumption and especially suitable for pickling and salting. The fruits do not overgrow if harvested promptly, which simplifies harvest. The hybrid is characterized by uniformity and quality of fruits, which form 'from within': by day 50–55 after transplanting, you can already obtain heads weighing 1–1.2 kg. On average, fruit weight is 2–3 kg, they are dense, round, and vibrant green. The optimal planting density is 40–45 thousand plants per hectare. Thanks to its prolonged fruiting and resistance to cracking, cucumber GREGORIAN is an excellent choice for fresh market sales and meets high market demands.
