FRIENDLY COMPANY

Cucumber "Friendly Company" is a medium-early parthenocarpic hybrid that begins fruiting 43-48 days after germination. The fruits are cylindrical, light green in color with a bumpy surface and white spines. The length of the cucumbers ranges from 7 to 9 cm, and the diameter up to 2.9 cm. The hybrid is characterized by high yield and excellent taste qualities, making it suitable for both fresh consumption and canning.

Plants are low-growing, predominantly female-flowering, with short vines. The hybrid is resistant to root rot, cold-tolerant, and drought-tolerant, allowing cultivation both in open ground and under temporary plastic covers. Seeds have high germination (about 95%) and are intended for sowing in warmed soil to a depth of no more than 3 cm. Loamy, well-aerated soils with moderate watering using warm water, regular fertilization, and weed removal are preferred.
