Description
Cucumber "Friendly Company" is a medium-early parthenocarpic hybrid that begins fruiting 43-48 days after germination. The fruits are cylindrical, light green in color with a bumpy surface and white spines. The length of the cucumbers ranges from 7 to 9 cm, and the diameter up to 2.9 cm. The hybrid is characterized by high yield and excellent taste qualities, making it suitable for both fresh consumption and canning.
Plants are low-growing, predominantly female-flowering, with short vines. The hybrid is resistant to root rot, cold-tolerant, and drought-tolerant, allowing cultivation both in open ground and under temporary plastic covers. Seeds have high germination (about 95%) and are intended for sowing in warmed soil to a depth of no more than 3 cm. Loamy, well-aerated soils with moderate watering using warm water, regular fertilization, and weed removal are preferred.
"Friendly Company" is a short-lived, annual hybrid resistant to wind and weather changes. Due to its characteristics and versatility, it is suitable for both greenhouse and open ground cultivation, making it an attractive choice for gardeners and farmers seeking high-quality, flavorful cucumber harvests.
