Cucumber Alfons

Cucumber Alfonso — this is a new early hybrid of female flowering type, ripening in about 40 days. The plant is characterized by well-developed root and leaf systems, allowing it to be successfully grown even under water deficit conditions. Thanks to these features, the hybrid provides abundant yield during the initial fruiting period, making it attractive to farmers and gardeners.

The fruits of cucumber Alfonso are uniform, moderately prickly, with thin skin and length from 6 to 10 cm. They possess excellent taste qualities, and when overgrown, they do not curl or lose their market appearance, ensuring good transportability. The fruit length-to-thickness ratio is 3.2:1, making them convenient for various uses.

This hybrid is ideally suited for industrial canning and pickling due to its characteristics and stable fruit quality. Cucumber Alfonso combines high yield, resistance to adverse conditions, and outstanding taste qualities, making it an excellent choice for cultivation both on an industrial scale and in private households.
