Cucumber CYBORG

The Cyborg F1 cucumber is a parthenocarpic hybrid with early and mid-season maturity, intended for cultivation in protected soil and light culture. The plant is tall and moderately leafy, with a female flowering type, forming 2 to 4 fruits in leaf axils. The fruits have an oval-cylindrical shape, dark green color with faint green stripes, measuring 10-12 cm in length and weighing 110-130 g. The surface of the fruits has small bumps arranged at moderate frequency, giving them an attractive appearance. The fruits have excellent flavor, are crisp, aromatic, and sweet, making them ideal for salads and fresh consumption.

The hybrid is characterized by high yield and adaptability to various growing conditions. It is resistant to true and false powdery mildew, reducing the need for insecticides and increasing product eco-friendliness. Cyborg F1 has high shade tolerance and plasticity, tolerating temperature fluctuations well and growing successfully on various substrates, including light and nutrient-rich soils. Thanks to its strong root system, the plant quickly recovers after fruit harvest, ensuring stable fruiting and high yield — up to 18 kg of marketable cucumbers per square meter.

Cyborg F1 is suitable for spring-summer-autumn and winter-spring periods, including supplemental lighting in greenhouses, enabling year-round stable harvests. The plant can be grown on trellises with support, facilitating fruit harvesting and packaging. The fruits are well-transported and retain excellent appearance, making this hybrid popular in the premium segment. All these qualities make Cyborg F1 a versatile and profitable choice for commercial cultivation and home gardening.
