Comaric is a mid-early parthenocarpic hybrid cucumber with female flowering, intended for cultivation in open ground and under film cover. The plant is compact and slow-growing, with small leaves, making it suitable for hobby cultivation. The first harvest is possible 55-60 days after germination, and the plant retains its green, fruiting appearance for a long time.
Comaric fruits are cylindrical, dark green, 5-10 cm long, with small and frequent bumps. They are smooth, shiny, crisp, and aromatic, making them an excellent choice for fresh consumption as well as pickling and canning. Two to three fruits form simultaneously at each node, ensuring a heavy yield. The hybrid is genetically free of bitterness and resistant to diseases, enhancing its reliability and fruit quality.
Comaric can be grown by direct sowing of seeds into soil heated to 15-20°C, or by seedlings. Seeds are sown at a depth of 1.5-2 cm, with nighttime temperatures not falling below 8°C. Due to its characteristics and resistance to adverse conditions, this hybrid is an excellent choice for gardeners seeking tasty, crisp cucumbers with minimal effort.
