Cucumber of the "White Night" variety is an early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid with female flowering type and cluster arrangement of ovaries at nodes. The period from germination to the start of fruiting is 42-44 days, ensuring early and abundant harvest. The cucumbers have a dark green color, length of 8-9 cm, warty surface, and dense, very tasty flesh. This hybrid is well transportable, making it convenient for marketing and storage.
The "White Night" variety is intended for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic covers. It is characterized by cold resistance and resistance to complex diseases, as well as tolerance to temperature fluctuations, which increases harvest reliability under various climatic conditions. Cucumbers of this variety are excellent for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling and marinating.
For successful cultivation, it is recommended to plant cucumbers after cabbage, potatoes, onions, carrots, or peppers on light, loose soils, well enriched with organic fertilizers. Seeds are sown in soil heated to 10-12°C, when the threat of frost has passed, at a depth of 1-1.5 cm with row spacing of 5-6 cm. Irrigation should be performed with warm water in the afternoon every 3-4 days. Cucumbers should be harvested regularly every 1-2 days to maintain high fruit quality.
