CUCUMBER-BOY

Cucumber Rubaha-Boy is a parthenocarpic hybrid intended for all types of processing. The plant is strong, open-type, with well-balanced growth and high capacity to bear heavy fruit loads without fruit drop. The fruits are large, ribbed, dark green, with excellent flavor and internal structure. The fruit length-to-thickness ratio is approximately 3.1 to 1, ensuring optimal size for various uses.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to diseases such as false powdery mildew, didymella, and pseudomonas, significantly simplifying care and increasing yield. Rubaha-Boy is a bee-pollinated variety with a climbing growth habit, allowing efficient space utilization during cultivation. Maturation periods range from early to medium — from 48 to 60 days — making this hybrid versatile for various climatic conditions and agronomic practices.

The fruits are medium-sized, 18–22 cm long, with ribbed surfaces, characteristic of this variety. The hybrid is supplied as seeds without individual packaging, in boxes of 10 seeds each, measuring 15 x 8 cm. Due to its characteristics and resistance, Rubaha-Boy is an excellent choice for both industrial cultivation and home gardens, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield.
