ZP 333

Sugarcane corn hybrid ZP 333 is a medium-maturing simple hybrid with a vegetative period of about 112 days. The plant is characterized by high height — from 240 to 250 cm, with ear attachment at a height of 80-90 cm. The ear is cylindrical, 23-24 cm long, with 16-18 rows of kernels and 34-38 kernels per row. Kernels are dent-shaped, yellow-orange with red sides, with a 1000-kernel weight of 310-330 g. The ear stalk has a red coloration, and anthocyanin pigmentation of the stalk is strong. Leaves are broad, slightly curved, with absent or very weak anthocyanin pigmentation in sheaths and roots. The hybrid is included in the State Register for the North Caucasus region and recommended for cultivation in the Leafy and Steppe zones. Average grain yield reaches 67.8 ц/га, with a maximum recorded yield of 110.6 ц/га. Potential yield is 10.0-11.0 т/га. Grain moisture at harvest is about 21%, slightly below standard levels. The plant exhibits moderate resistance to major diseases, including ear fungal rot and stalk rot, as well as pests such as the stalk borer. The hybrid has good cold tolerance and lodging resistance, ensuring stable yields. Sugarcane corn ZP 333 is suitable for grain production under various climatic conditions, providing high productivity and product quality. Seeds are supplied in 25 kg bags and can be delivered throughout Ukraine. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, this hybrid is a profitable choice for agricultural producers aiming to achieve high and stable corn yields.
