Description ZP 299
The ZP 299 hybrid sugar corn is a medium-high plant with high lodging resistance, ensuring stable yields even under adverse weather conditions. This early-maturing hybrid with an FAO of 220 is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones, including steppes, forest-steppes, and Polissia, making it a versatile choice for farmers. Seeds are supplied in packages of 50,000 units, convenient for large-scale planting.

ZP 299 stands out for its high yield, which varies by region: approximately 50.2 t/ha in the steppe zone, reaching 96.7 t/ha in the forest-steppe, and 77.5 t/ha in Polissia. The hybrid exhibits good water shedding during maturation, which contributes to high-quality grain formation and reduces harvest losses. The grain type is crystalline-ridged, providing excellent technological properties and market demand.

Special attention has been given to the hybrid's resistance to diseases and stress factors. ZP 299 has high lodging resistance ratings (8.6-9 points) and excellent resistance to major corn diseases, including rust, fusarium, and powdery mildew, with resistance ratings of 9 points. This protection minimizes yield losses and reduces crop protection costs, ensuring stable and high-quality sugar corn production.
