Description
Voronezh 192 SV is an early-maturing three-line hybrid maize (Zea mays L.) developed by the Voronezh branch of the All-Russian Research Institute of Maize. The hybrid is distinguished by high adaptability to various climatic conditions and is recommended for cultivation in the Central, Central Chernozem, Ural, and West Siberian regions. The plant exhibits a high growth form, with broad slightly curved leaves and medium ear density. The grain is toothed, with a yellow-orange upper part and orange lower part, indicating its high quality and attractiveness for various agronomic purposes.
The Voronezh 192 SV hybrid demonstrates stable and high yields. In the Central region, the average grain yield reaches 56 c/ha, with maximum values up to 60.1 c/ha. In the Central Chernozem region, grain yield is higher — averaging 65.2 c/ha, with maximum values reaching 71.5 c/ha. The vegetation period varies from 79 to 131 days depending on the region, allowing flexible planning of sowing and harvesting dates. Moreover, the hybrid has good silage productivity with high dry matter content, making it versatile for feed purposes.
Special attention during the development of the hybrid was paid to its adaptation to local conditions and ensuring optimal price-to-quality ratio of seeds. Voronezh 192 SV has undergone testing and is included in the State Register, confirming its reliability and efficiency for agricultural production. Due to its characteristics and stable yield, this hybrid is an excellent choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality maize crops in various climatic zones.
