AS 15250 — a mid-early hybrid of grain and silage corn with a maturation period of about 70-72 days. The plant is characterized by high height up to 180 cm and a strong stalk, which ensures resistance to lodging and breakage. The ear, about 25 cm long, is positioned at a height of approximately 70 cm, facilitating harvesting and high grain quality. The hybrid features wide leaves and produces a high yield of dry matter with exceptional nutritional value.

The hybrid exhibits high drought and lodging resistance, making it effective for cultivation under various climatic conditions. It is tolerant to stem and ear Fusarium, moderately resistant to common rust and ear bacterial diseases, ensuring stable yields and reduced losses during storage. The 1000-grain weight ranges from 280-320 g, and the grain starch content reaches 73%, making the grain especially valuable for feed purposes.

AS 15250 is recommended for standardized planting with a seeding rate of 75 to 100 thousand seeds per hectare. Average yields vary by region: in the Central Black Earth region, it reaches about 79.2 centners per hectare, in the Lower Volga region — 54.7 centners per hectare, with maximum yields reaching 135.0 and 110.9 centners per hectare respectively. The hybrid is suitable for grain production with an efficiency of about 60.5%, making it a versatile choice for agricultural enterprises.
