Maize RGT XXAVI

The hybrid corn RGT XXAVI (FAO 310) is a medium-maturing, intensive hybrid with a dent kernel type, developed by RGT. It is characterized by stable and high yield potential when using intensive cultivation technologies. The seeds are treated with Maxim XL, providing protection against diseases in early growth stages. The plants are taller than average and exhibit high resistance to lodging, which helps preserve yield under adverse weather conditions.

RGT XXAVI demonstrates high adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions, making it suitable for cultivation in different regions, including Polissia, forest-steppe, and southern forest-steppe. The hybrid is highly cold-tolerant and drought-resistant, and it is tolerant to stalk and ear fusarium. Early growth rates and rapid water absorption allow efficient use of the hybrid in monoculture and under minimal or zero tillage.

Recommended planting dates vary from early to late, depending on soil temperature ranging from 10 to 14 °C at the seed planting depth. Optimal planting density varies by cultivation zone and ranges from 45 to 75 thousand plants per hectare depending on soil moisture levels. The 1000-kernel weight is 320-340 grams, and the ear contains 16-18 rows with 38-42 kernels per row, ensuring high yield potential and grain quality.
