Maize R 0205

French Excellence in Grain Production

The R 0205 maize hybrid from the French breeder RAGT (Societe Ragt 2N S.A.S) represents a high-performing solution for modern grain production. Engineered with a focus on early maturation and efficient moisture loss, this hybrid is designed to thrive in varied European climate conditions, providing farmers with a reliable harvest window.

Technical Specifications

R 0205 is purpose-bred for high-quality grain yields. Its genetic architecture emphasizes early-stage vigor and optimal grain filling, making it a preferred choice for intensive cultivation systems. Key parameters:

• Category: Grain maize.
• FAO Index: 90–1240.
• Maturity: Early.
• Sowing density: 40,000 to 55,000 plants per hectare.

Cultivation and Density Strategy

To maximize the performance of R 0205, growers should adjust plant population density according to local water availability. Under favorable moisture conditions, a density of 50,000 to 55,000 plants/ha is recommended, while in more arid zones, thinning the density to 40,000–45,000 plants/ha will ensure better yield stability. The combination of RAGT’s proven pedigree and the specific physiological traits of this hybrid allows for early harvesting, helping producers optimize their post-harvest drying costs.

As a product of Societe Ragt 2N S.A.S, the R 0205 hybrid maintains the high standards of French maize breeding, offering robust germination and consistent grain quality across diverse soil profiles.
