PH 10 VH 1 is an early-maturing corn hybrid intended for table and canning use. Maturation time ranges from 65 to 84 days depending on growing conditions. Plants are of medium height, approximately 1.6–1.7 meters, with cylindrical ears 17–21 cm long and weighing 186–220 grams. The kernels are bright yellow, densely and evenly filled, with high sugar content — over 20% — giving them a distinct sweetness. The hybrid exhibits good disease resistance and is adapted for organic farming, broadening its application potential.
To enhance yield and grain quality, we recommend using a complex chelated micronutrient fertilizer specially formulated for foliar and pre-sowing corn applications. The unique micronutrient formula promotes efficient uptake of primary nutrients — nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. A key advantage of the fertilizer is correcting zinc deficiency during early growth stages, which improves plant metabolism. Iron enhances photosynthesis and redox reactions, while boron and copper improve flowering and pollination, positively affecting ear quality.
Using this hybrid in combination with the micronutrient fertilizer improves key corn quality indicators: kernel size and fullness, moisture loss, starch and protein content, as well as the appearance, aroma, and color of the harvest. The milk-stage grain is suitable for canning and boiling, making PH 10 VH 1 a versatile choice for the canning and processing industries.
