Palmira South is a mid-early corn hybrid that combines high yield potential with excellent taste qualities. The maturity period is 80–90 days, making it an optimal choice between early and late varieties. Plants reach heights of 190 to 300 cm, forming cylindrical ears 17–19 cm long with yellow, juicy seeds of either sweet or dent type, depending on the specific hybrid modification. The ears have a thin white stalk, and the kernels are characterized by a rich sweet flavor and prolonged sweetness retention, making this hybrid ideal for fresh consumption, canning, and freezing.
