SILVERCLOUD

Corn seeds SILVERCLOUD are a simple, high-yielding hybrid with FAO 200, developed by IFAGRI. This hybrid is adapted to various soil types and is characterized by high stability and plasticity. It has rapid early growth energy and tolerates low temperatures, allowing successful cultivation under different climatic conditions. The kernel type is dent, making the hybrid versatile for use as grain, silage, or biogas production.

The SILVERCLOUD hybrid is characterized by high yield potential of 16-17 tons of grain per hectare. The recommended plant density at harvest ranges from 65,000 to 85,000 plants per hectare, depending on the moisture zone. Optimal planting dates vary depending on soil temperature: early-optimal at 10–12 °C, optimal at 12–14 °C, and late-optimal at 14–16 °C. Plant height is above average, ear attachment height is 105-115 cm, number of rows per ear is 14–16, and number of kernels per row is 34–36. The 1000-kernel weight ranges from 260–280 grams.

The hybrid exhibits good water shedding and resistance to several diseases, including stalk rot, Fusarium stalk and ear rot, and helminthosporiosis. Thanks to these characteristics, SILVERCLOUD demonstrates high yield stability and is suitable for cultivation in the Polissia and forest-steppe zones. The seed package contains 80,000 seeds, ensuring convenience and cost-effectiveness during planting.
