MALONGO

MALONGO is a medium-early three-line hybrid corn of the silken type, intended for grain and silage production. The hybrid is characterized by high yield potential, which exceeded the standard by more than a third during state variety trials, reaching average yields of about 108-111 centners per hectare and maximum yields of up to 165 centners per hectare. MALONGO features early tasseling, low plant height, and low bushiness, facilitating harvesting and reducing lodging risk. The hybrid's grain contains approximately 9.6% protein and over 71% starch, ensuring high nutritional value and enabling the production of quality feed.

The hybrid exhibits good grain moisture release at maturity, simplifying harvest and reducing yield losses. MALONGO demonstrates excellent adaptation to low temperatures, allowing it to successfully withstand spring and autumn frosts. Under intensive cultivation techniques, the hybrid performs best, providing high dry matter and starch yields. The average dry matter content in green mass is about 33%, and protein yield per hectare reaches 8.9 centners, making MALONGO a profitable choice for grain and feed production.

The hybrid is resistant to major corn diseases, including stalk fusarium rot, ear gnomosis, and common rust, and has low susceptibility to lodging.
