Corn KWS 518 is a mid-season hybrid with FAO maturity group 350, suitable for cultivation under various climatic conditions. This variety is characterized by high yield and disease resistance, ensuring stable harvests. Plants reach a height of 250 to 280 cm, exhibit lodging resistance, and have rapid water shedding, facilitating harvest and improving grain quality.

KWS 518 has a dent kernel type, with ears containing 16–18 rows of kernels, each row holding 30–32 kernels. This composition contributes to high ear fill and increased yield mass. Seeds are certified and meet agronomic standards, guaranteeing their quality and effectiveness upon sowing.

The hybrid is versatile in use: it is suitable for grain, silage, and biogas production. Recommended plant density varies depending on soil moisture levels — from 45,000 to 80,000 plants per hectare.
