Description RAGT FAXSANA
RAGT FAXSANA — a mid-early three-row maize hybrid, intended for cultivation in adequately moist zones such as the Polesie and forest-steppe regions. This variety exhibits high resistance to stalk and ear fusarium, as well as good drought and wind tolerance. Medium-height plants with medium-length and diameter ears, seeds of intermediate type, closer to flint, with yellow-orange upper part and orange lower part. Kernel rows per ear: 14-16, contributing to high yield.

The hybrid demonstrates high productivity under intensive cultivation techniques and is suitable for both monoculture and minimal tillage. Recommended plant density at harvest: 70-75 thousand/ha in adequately moist zones and 72-75 thousand/ha in less moist zones. Optimal sowing time: when soil temperature reaches 10-12 °C, with late sowing possible at 12-14 °C. The variety has high initial growth energy and cold resistance, ensuring good plant development under moderate climate conditions.

Vegetation period varies by region and ranges from 99 to 137 days. Grain yield across regions reaches 49.7 to 86.6 centners/ha, with maximum yields up to 121.9 centners/ha under favorable conditions. Grain moisture at harvest ranges from 19.5% to 40.2%, facilitating subsequent processing and storage. Due to its characteristics, RAGT FAXSANA is a reliable choice for farmers seeking stable and high maize grain yields.
