LG30215 — is a medium-early, high-yielding hybrid of sweet corn with an intermediate silica-ridged kernel type, belonging to the FAO-220 group. Plants reach an average height of about 260 cm, forming ears with 14-16 rows of kernels, each containing approximately 30 kernels. The 1000-kernel weight is about 250 grams. The hybrid exhibits high genetic yield potential, reaching 9 points out of 9, as well as rapid early development and early flowering, allowing efficient use of nutrients before the onset of summer heat and drought. LG30215 has high plasticity and resistance to various stress factors, including temperature fluctuations in spring and drought in mid- to late summer. It adapts well to seasonal stresses and various soil preparation technologies, though optimal results are achieved with classical cultivation methods using a complex of fertilizers. The hybrid is tolerant to major corn diseases, such as common and downy mildew, ear fusarium, rot, and helminthosporiosis, as well as resistant to lodging and stem breakage. Recommended for cultivation in central, southern, and northern regions of Ukraine, where yield ranges from 78 to 104 centners per hectare. Optimal planting density depends on regional moisture levels: for well-watered areas — 70-85 thousand plants per hectare, for less watered areas — 60-70 thousand, and for arid zones — 50-55 thousand. The hybrid is also suitable for silage production due to its high energy value of kernels and rapid moisture release.
