LADOGSKY 221 AMV

Ladogsky 221 AMV — medium-early modified hybrid corn with FAO 220, intended for grain and silage production. The plant reaches a height of about 270-275 cm, with a medium-length, cylindrical ear located at a height of about 98 cm. The grain is dent-shaped, with an orange upper part and yellow-orange lower part, with a 1000-grain weight of approximately 298 g. The leaves are of medium width, slightly curved, and the anthocyanin pigmentation in roots and husks is weak or absent. The hybrid is characterized by early-to-medium tasseling and high energy at early development stages. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major corn diseases, including fusarium, as well as drought tolerance, ensuring stable yields under various climatic conditions. Ladogsky 221 AMV is adapted to various soil types and demonstrates good moisture release, facilitating harvest and improving grain quality. The hybrid’s yield can reach up to 120 centners per hectare, with regional variations, for example, in the Voronezh region, yields reach 124.6 centners per hectare. For successful cultivation, classical cultivation technology should be followed and sufficient soil moisture should be ensured, as the crop is warm-loving and does not tolerate shade. The optimal seeding rate is 75-80 thousand seeds per hectare. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, Ladogsky 221 AMV is a reliable choice for obtaining high-quality grain and silage in various agroclimatic zones.
