KWS Amber is a mid-season semi-remontant hybrid with dent kernel type, adapted to various soil-climatic growing conditions. Plants reach a height of 260 to 290 cm, with ear attachment height of 100-110 cm. Leaves have a napieroid type, which promotes good photosynthetic activity. The hybrid can form large ears with 14-16 rows of kernels, each containing 37 to 42 kernels, yielding a total of 518 to 640 kernels per ear. Under favorable conditions, a second ear may form. The average 1000-kernel weight ranges from 310 to 360 g, indicating the hybrid's large kernel size. KWS Amber features high yield stability, reaching a potential of 140 ц/ha. Grain yield percentage is 83-84%, due to the ear's thin stalk and optimal kernel structure. The hybrid exhibits high heat and drought tolerance, ensuring uninterrupted vegetative growth and grain filling even under elevated temperatures. Rapid moisture release allows effective use of grain for various purposes, primarily for marketable grain. Recommended for No-Till technology, which simplifies agronomic operations and helps retain soil moisture. To achieve maximum yield in well-watered zones, plant density should be 70-80 тыс./га; in water-limited zones — 55-70 тыс./га. For precise seed sowing control, it is advisable to use precision planters. Due to its morphological and physiological characteristics, KWS Amber is a versatile hybrid capable of effectively adapting to various growing conditions and ensuring stable, high-quality grain yields.
