Corn KWS KALAFUNA is a mid-early hybrid of grain type with dent kernel, designed for high grain yields. This hybrid features very rapid drying, facilitating harvest and reducing storage losses. High drought tolerance ensures stable yields even under water deficit, making KWS KALAFUNA a versatile solution for various climatic zones.
Corn plants reach a height of 250-260 cm, with ears attached at a height of 75-85 cm. The number of rows per ear varies from 12 to 14, and the number of kernels per row is 33-36. The 1000-kernel weight ranges from 270-300 g, indicating large kernel size and high quality seed material. The hybrid exhibits plasticity and consistently shows high yield performance under various cultivation technologies.
Recommended planting density is 75-85 thousand plants per hectare in well-watered zones and 60-65 thousand per hectare under water deficit.
