Maize CS Cavani

CS Cavani corn is a high-yielding hybrid with FAO maturity group 250, intended for grain production and feed production. This hybrid is characterized by very rapid water shedding, allowing efficient harvest under various conditions. The grain type is dent, which promotes good processing and quality of the final product. CS Cavani has high drought tolerance and stability under different growing conditions, making it a versatile choice for regions with variable moisture levels.

Morphological characteristics of the corn include plant height from 250 to 320 cm and ear attachment height from 75 to 130 cm, depending on growing conditions. The number of rows varies from 12 to 16, and the number of kernels per row is from 30 to 40. The 1000-kernel weight ranges from 270 to 300 g, indicating large kernel size and high yield potential. Grain yield potential reaches 16 t/ha (or 140 c/ha), and green mass yield up to 700 c/ha, confirming the hybrid's high productivity.

Recommended planting density at harvest depends on soil moisture level: 75-85 thousand plants per hectare for adequate moisture, 60-65 thousand/ha for medium moisture, and 45-55 thousand/ha for low moisture. The hybrid has plasticity and erect leaf type, which promotes good ventilation and reduces disease risk. Kernel recovery rate is 83-85%, which is a high indicator for hybrids of this class. CS Cavani is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve stable and high yields under various climatic conditions.
