Maize LG 30179

LG 30179 corn is an early-maturing hybrid designed for both grain and silage production. This hybrid features a dent-type kernel with yellow-orange coloring on both top and bottom. The plant is of medium height — approximately 240 cm — with medium-sized ears and medium kernel density, ensuring high yield and stable product quality. The vegetative period ranges from 98 to 112 days depending on growing conditions.

The hybrid exhibits rapid early growth and early flowering, contributing to its high cold tolerance and resistance to various lodging types. The leaves are narrow or medium-width with slight curvature, and anthocyanin pigmentation of the silk and leaf sheath varies from weak to strong. Resistance to diseases, including stalk rot and bunt, is high, ensuring reliable cultivation under various climatic conditions.

LG 30179 demonstrates high yield potential, exceeding regional standards by 16.8% and 9.2% in the Central Chernozem and Lower Volga regions, respectively. Maximum yields reached 123.3 c/ha and 81.7 c/ha. Grain moisture at harvest is lower than standard, facilitating storage and processing. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation across various regions, including the Volga, Ural, and Central regions, due to its adaptability and stress tolerance.
