MAS 45M

Hybrid sweet corn MAS 45M is intended for obtaining high yields in moderate climate and steppe zones. It demonstrates excellent stress tolerance and quickly recovers after adverse weather conditions, making it a reliable choice for farms with intensive cultivation technologies. MAS 45M has a medium-late maturity period and is suitable for both grain production and silage, ensuring its versatility.

Plants of this hybrid are of medium height with dent-type kernels, with 18 rows per ear, and kernel per row varies from 32 to 36. The hybrid is characterized by high yield — up to 18 tons per hectare — as well as excellent dry matter content, which facilitates harvest and subsequent processing of the crop. MAS 45M exhibits good resistance to diseases, including helminthosporiosis and stem and tassel fusarium, as well as high resistance to lodging and drought.

To achieve optimal results, MAS 45M should be grown in areas with adequate moisture at a planting density of 75-85 thousand plants per hectare, and in areas with insufficient moisture — 60-70 thousand plants per hectare. The hybrid is well adapted to irrigation and has high agronomic efficiency, confirmed by high initial growth, green retention (stay green), and overall stress resistance.
