Maize EFF 261

Consistent performance in the field: Working with EFF 261

When selecting a corn hybrid that performs reliably for both grain and silage, the Limagrain EFF 261 stands out as a highly predictable choice.

Phytosanitary control

In high-humidity conditions, where neighboring fields struggled with helminthosporium and corn smut, the EFF 261 showed remarkable resilience. Furthermore, its resistance to rust and various rots ensures that the grain quality remains high, even if harvesting is delayed.

Versatility in application

The strength of the EFF 261 lies in its adaptability. Use it for both grain production and silage. The stalk remains strong throughout the season, minimizing losses during mechanical harvesting, while the ear reaches ideal moisture levels for storage or ensiling exactly when needed.

• Excellent adaptability to diverse soil conditions.
• Minimal reliance on extra chemical treatments.
• High dry matter content for efficient silage use.
• Strong root development, ensuring survival during dry spells.

Operating with this hybrid is straightforward: it is predictable in terms of agronomic requirements, does not require complex management during sowing, and consistently delivers the targeted yield, which is the ultimate testament to Limagrain's genetics.
