The DKC4631 corn hybrid is a high-yielding variety with excellent grain and silage quality. It features rapid moisture loss at maturity, facilitating timely harvest. The plants have a strong root system and sturdy stalks, ensuring resistance to lodging and good adaptation to various soil-climate conditions. The hybrid tolerates drought well and exhibits high resistance to common corn diseases such as Fusarium and common smut. DKC4631 belongs to the mid-season group with FAO 350, allowing cultivation in various regions of Ukraine, including Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Steppe. Suitable for cultivation both as monoculture and with adaptive soil management technologies, including conventional, minimal, and No-Tillage. Soil temperature at planting should be no less than 8 °C. Plant height reaches 240–250 cm, with ear attachment height of 100–110 cm. The ear contains 16–20 rows with 35–38 kernels per row, totaling 550–650 kernels, which have a dent type. The hybrid exhibits high initial growth energy and resistance to cold, drought, and lodging, confirmed by 9-point scale ratings. Grain moisture decreases rapidly at maturity, easing harvest. DKC4631 is suitable for biofuel production, including bioethanol and biogas, as well as for silage. Optimal planting density varies depending on moisture conditions: 50,000–60,000 plants per hectare in dry conditions, up to 75,000–80,000 in well-watered conditions.
