The hybrid sweet corn DKC3151 is an early-maturing variety with high yield potential and adaptability to various growing conditions. It belongs to FAO group 200 and is characterized by high cold tolerance, making it suitable for cultivation in western and northern regions of Ukraine. The hybrid is suitable for adaptive technologies and can be sown at soil temperatures as low as 7-8 °C. Recommended planting density varies depending on moisture levels: 75-85 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture, 65-70 thousand under unstable conditions. Soil preparation can be conventional or minimal. The plant reaches a height of 220-230 cm, with the ear positioned at 100-110 cm. The ear contains 16 rows of kernels, each with 34-36 kernels, totaling 550-580 kernels per ear. The kernels are dent type with high starch content, exceeding 72%. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major corn diseases, including Fusarium and common smut, as well as to lodging caused by root and stalk rot. Initial growth energy, cold tolerance, and drought resistance are rated at 8 out of 10, indicating high plant viability and stability. DKC3151 demonstrates rapid water release during the maturation period, facilitating harvest and improving crop quality. The hybrid is suitable for biofuel production, including bioethanol and biogas, and can be used for silage. Due to its adaptability and resilience to adverse climatic and soil conditions, this hybrid is a reliable choice for farmers seeking high-quality sweet corn yields.
