Maize EG 3056

EG 3056 — a mid-season grain corn hybrid, designed for cultivation under various natural-climatic conditions. This hybrid is characterized by high stability and reliability, allowing it to maintain maximum yield even under adverse weather conditions and water deficit. Plants reach a height of about 2.6 meters, with ear length of 20–22 cm, featuring 16–18 rows of dent kernels, each containing an average of 32 kernels. The 1000-kernel weight is approximately 300 grams, indicating high kernel quality and density.

The EG 3056 hybrid exhibits high adaptability to various soil types and climatic conditions, including arid regions. It is resistant to stress factors during the vegetation period, such as water shortage, and demonstrates strong immunity to major pathogenic diseases, including common smut and fusarium. Additionally, the hybrid shows high resistance to stalk and root lodging, which helps preserve yield and facilitates harvest.

A distinctive feature of the hybrid is its high energy of development during the early vegetation stage, ensuring rapid and uniform seed germination. The grain dries quickly at harvest time, reaching a moisture content of 17–18%, which facilitates storage and processing. EG 3056 is suitable for monoculture cultivation and has a high yield potential — up to 140 centners per hectare under optimal conditions. This makes it an advantageous choice for farmers seeking a stable and high corn yield.
