Corn hybrid BELIZE 305 is a mid-season simple hybrid with a vegetative period of about 107 days. The plant is of medium height, reaching 230-250 cm, with ear attachment at 90-95 cm. The ear has a weakly conical shape, medium length and diameter, with 16 to 20 rows of kernels. The kernels are dent-shaped, white in color, with a 1000-kernel weight ranging from 280-340 g. This hybrid is characterized by medium kernel density and white coloring of the upper and lower parts of the kernel. BELIZE 305 is intended for food use but can also be used for high-quality silage production, making it versatile in agriculture. The hybrid demonstrates good early development and high responsiveness to intensive growing conditions. It exhibits high tolerance to low spring temperatures, heat, and drought, as well as good adaptation to minimal soil tillage. Due to the Stay Green effect, the plant maintains green leaf surface for an extended period, contributing to high productivity. The optimal plant density under sufficient moisture is 70-75 thousand plants per hectare, and 60-65 thousand plants per hectare under insufficient moisture. The hybrid shows high resistance to lodging and can form elongated ears with excellent pollination rates. The potential grain yield at 14% moisture exceeds 17 t/ha, confirmed by expert evaluation with yields around 54.5 centners per hectare. The highest yields are achieved in steppe and forest-steppe zones, making BELIZE 305 a favorable choice for various climatic conditions.
