Corn DKS 4109 is a high-yielding hybrid of medium maturity group, developed by breeders of the company DEKALB. This hybrid is characterized by high yield potential, reaching 152 c/ha at 19% moisture on demonstration plantings. Plants are compact with strong stems, providing resistance to adverse weather conditions and mechanical damage. The kernel type is dent, which facilitates good processing and utilization.

Hybrid DKS 4109 is adapted for cultivation in areas with sufficient but unstable moisture, and is suitable for various soil types, including clay loams and clay soils. Recommended planting density varies depending on moisture conditions: 70-75 thousand plants per hectare under sufficient moisture, 60-65 thousand under unstable conditions. Corn tolerates monoculture and long-term idle periods, making it convenient for various agronomic schemes.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to diseases, including stalk and ear fusarium, powdery mildew, helminthosporium, root and stalk rot. Rapid moisture loss enables timely harvest.
