AS 33009

AS 33009 corn hybrid is a simple, dent-type mid-early hybrid with a FAO of approximately 260-290, providing optimal maturation times for various climatic conditions. Plants reach a height of 200 to 245 cm, with ear attachment height ranging from 44 to 55 cm. The ear contains 16 rows of kernels, with 42 to 46 kernels per row, and a 1000-kernel weight of approximately 280-290 g. The hybrid is recommended for direct seeding and is suitable for cultivation as grain or silage.

AS 33009 exhibits high resistance to adverse environmental factors, including drought and frost, making it suitable for areas with varying levels of moisture, including arid and irrigated regions. Plants maintain good stalk condition at the end of the vegetation period and exhibit high resistance to lodging, which contributes to yield retention. Moreover, the hybrid demonstrates high resistance to major corn diseases, such as Fusarium, downy mildew, and helminthosporium.

Due to its adaptability and low maintenance requirements, AS 33009 is suitable for cultivation in various regions of Ukraine. The recommended seeding rate ranges from 70,000 to 100,000 plants per hectare, depending on the cultivation zone and soil moisture level. Its high yield potential, reaching 150-161 centners per hectare, makes this hybrid an attractive choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality corn harvest.
