Maize AMURSKY 2

Genetic Architecture and Crop Protection

The «AMURSKIY 2» corn hybrid by Ooo Amurskoe is a breeding achievement focused on stability under intensive farming conditions. A key feature of this hybrid is its double-cross structure, which ensures uniformity of crops and a predictable response to agronomic interventions. Choosing a simple hybrid allows for the maximum heterosis effect, which translates directly into high biological grain yield.

Phytosanitary Profile and Adaptability

The inherent resistance of this hybrid to pathogens is a core engineering feature. «AMURSKIY 2» is selectively protected against critical crop threats such as helminthosporiosis and common smut. This reduces the need for fungicide treatments, allowing the plant to direct its energy towards optimal ear development. The resistance to specific infections makes this hybrid a reliable solution for farms aiming to minimize losses during stressful vegetation periods.

Grain Characteristics and Application

The grain is of an intermediate type, combining the benefits of flint corn (high density, strong starch core) and a vibrant yellow-orange color, which is highly valued in both the feed industry and food sectors. Its mid-early maturity is an ideal solution for regions with limited thermal activity, allowing the crop to complete its development cycle before unfavorable weather sets in. The versatility of the hybrid—from grain production to fresh consumption—expands market opportunities and ensures high harvest liquidity.
