Maize 3 IR

Gastronomic Profile of the «3 IR» Hybrid

The «3 IR» maize variety, offered by Ooo Niir Iragro, occupies a specialized niche in the seed market. Its development represents a strategic collaboration between the Russian breeding sector and international intellectual property standards, with the original breeders being Niir Iragro and the Vladikavkaz Scientific Center of the RAS, and rights held by a French entity. This synergy has resulted in a product specifically engineered for culinary and table use, rather than for forage or industrial grain production.

Culinary Versatility

The primary advantage of «3 IR» is its adaptability to a wide range of culinary applications. Unlike traditional dent corn varieties aimed at animal feed or flour production, this hybrid is optimized for organoleptic quality. The producer highlights its effectiveness across several critical sectors:

• Food Processing: Excellent performance in canning and freezing, maintaining structural integrity and flavor profile;
• Fresh Market & HoReCa: Highly valued for fresh consumption, specifically for boiling and grilling, ensuring a premium product for restaurants and retail;
• Catering: A staple choice for salads and complex culinary dishes where sweetness and kernel texture are paramount.

The reputation of «3 IR» is defined by the balance between cultivation efficiency and the quality of the final consumer product. It is an ideal solution for agricultural producers focusing on contracts with canning facilities or supplying high-quality fresh produce to retail chains.
