Maize A 654 CMSC X S 1222

Versatility in every cob

Woodstock's "А 654 ЦМЩЦ Х С 1222" is exactly the case where the variety covers almost all the needs of a small-scale or family operation focused on fresh consumption and processing. This is a mid-early hybrid, which is crucial for our climate: it manages to mature before long rains or early frosts settle in.

Growing experience and culinary potential

Regarding field characteristics, this hybrid from Hungarian breeders Woodstock behaves quite predictably. Germination is stable, and the ripening period allows for harvesting without unnecessary rush. However, the most interesting part begins in the kitchen.

• Boiling: The kernels remain tender with a pronounced natural sweetness.
• Grilling: The cob doesn't dry out when roasted, retaining its juiciness and structure.
• Canning and freezing: Even after thermal processing, the kernels maintain their marketability, which is vital if you intend to sell excess produce or store it for the winter.

The convenience lies in the fact that this variety is truly universal. There is no need to split patches into "for salads" or "for canning." It performs excellently both in vegetable mixes and as a standalone product. If you are looking for a reliable option for your own table or a small farm business with an emphasis on produce quality, "А 654 ЦМЩЦ Х С 1222" fully justifies the effort.
