Zinnia FESTIVE

Practical Experience Growing 'Prazdnichnaya' Zinnia

This Russian-bred variety (FGBNU FNTSO) has proven itself as a low-maintenance crop for filling flower beds and creating floral arrangements. If you are looking for a plant that does not require daily monitoring while maintaining consistent growth parameters, 'Prazdnichnaya' is an excellent tool for any grower.

Operational Parameters and Placement

The plant exhibits a stable height ranging from 50 to 90 cm. This versatility allows for use in open fields to create dense groups or in large containers on terraces. The stems are strong enough to support large blossoms, although when grown in open fields exposed to wind, basic support is recommended to save time on restoring the crop after heavy gusts.

Agrotechnical Features

• Versatile Palette: The mix of yellow, white, and pink shades allows for flexible combinations with other garden crops.
• Cutting: The variety is ideal for bouquets. The blossoms are highly dense, which ensures long-lasting vase life when harvested at the semi-bloom stage.
• Maintenance: Minimal effort is required, limited to regular watering and removing wilted heads to stimulate new bud development.

The seeding rate for open ground is standard, but it is worth noting that sparse planting results in a more branched bush, increasing the marketable yield per square meter. In containers, this zinnia variety requires more intensive fertilization, as the limited volume of substrate depletes quickly.
