FANTASY SALMON

Fantasy Salmon is an annual shrub growing 50 to 60 cm tall with upright stems and sturdy side branches covered with coarse hairs. The leaves have an ovate-acuminate shape, are sessile and opposite, giving the plant a dense, compact appearance.

The inflorescences are large, double, with a diameter of 10–12 cm, consisting of numerous ray florets. Colors vary from bright reds to pastel pinks and lavender hues; in some varieties, yellow and orange nuances are found. Ray florets are often twisted and have a bifid tip, creating an impressive decorative look.

The plant prefers a warm climate, grows well in open ground (sowing seeds in May) and from seedlings (in spring). Flowering begins in June and lasts until the first frost. Thanks to its bright coloration and large inflorescences, the salmon variety is widely used for decorating flowerbeds, flower gardens, and as cut flower material.
