Chrysanthemum WHITE RIVER

Technical Potential of the 'Belaya Reka' Variety

This chrysanthemum variety, developed by the Ufa Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, is a specialized breeding product designed for professional cut flower production. The primary engineering goal achieved by the originator was to produce a tall (60+ cm) plant with a rigid peduncle capable of supporting a large inflorescence (10+ cm) without stem deformation.

Morphological Features and Agrotechnical Solutions

• Stem Structure: The plant exhibits high tissue strength, minimizing lodging and simplifying packaging processes during transportation.
• Flowering Phenology: The highly specialized late-autumn vegetative cycle (November) fills the market gap for fresh cuts at the end of the season. A flowering duration exceeding 40 days is achieved through the high density of the petal apparatus.
• Frost Resistance: Genetic adaptation to the region of origin allows the variety to perform effectively both in protected ground and as an ornamental garden plant, maintaining high survival rates in sub-zero temperatures.

'Belaya Reka' features a petal-type inflorescence, providing aesthetic purity with a faint, non-intrusive aroma. This makes the variety an ideal tool for florists specializing in mono-bouquets, where structural integrity and long-lasting vase life are paramount.
